I hope everyone is surviving ok now a days

I was mowing my yard today and mediating and I remembered I am responsible to and answer to a Higher Power in my life today.
That thought brought a lot of peace to me and I know peace because of those 12 steps and that HP today.I feel calm while there seems to be trouble all around.

To calm my mind, I too reach for those recovery prayers
I learned early on in my own recovery journey. Just pausing
for a moment, stop, relax, sit, then pray asking for serenity
and peace of mind, resets my purpose in life and task at
hand.

Then, there it is, a show of something so beautiful, fluttering
in a shadow across my feet, and i rise to see, oh my goodness,
one of God's lovely creations, a black Swallowtail floating with
ease over my towering Holly's and around my garden of paradise.

It's moments like that that bring joy to my heart and melt
any kind of worry i had away.

Doing the work of my Higher Power and living as I should
today continuously practicing and incorporating the steps
of AA grants me another sober day filled with countless
blessings.
