You Never Know
I found the AA meeting here in Sarasota that I couldn't find the day before.
I enjoyed it very much. This one speaker talked about a problem I had, and sometimes still have. He spoke of trying to figure things out. He spent many years trying to understand and learn why. He spoke how he never found the answers but discovered they didn't matter. I put out my hand after to say hello. He guessed I was from Boston because of my "R's". Turns out he was from Lowell Mass., where I got my 5 years. He ran The Lowell House, a Half Way House, where I attended many meetings. He then went on and ran a place called the "Cresant House" that was and still is a place for Veterans to stay. Many of the Vets I know in my progam live there. Talk about a small world. Don W

Great that you found such fellowship in a strange land with people that talk funny *LOL*
My son found all kinds of friends in the Marines because of that lack of "Rs"
A redneck Sarg would start into him and when he would reply, the home town Gunny would perk up and say...Hey your from Boston and they would start talking of back home *LOL* No fire watch that night
Never been to Cresant House but have heard it spoken of by a few over time.
Make sure your chads fall out when you vote if still down there in Nov *LOL*
