Hello again

I haven't posted in a long while. For me anyway I needed more than an online forum.

2.5 years ago I was utterly defeated, I had no more ideas.

I had gone so far down the scale, that I could no longer imagine continuing with alcohol in my life. Yet, I could not imagine living without alcohol, I had never done it in my adult life. When this realization hit home, I knew I was screwed.

It was at this point that I was ready to take actions I did not yet believe in.

So I cracked open the door of the last house on the block, and began taking suggestions from a man who became my sponsor.

My life has been restored beyond my most optimistic imagination.

I'll post more later, but I just wanted to say hello again, it was back in Nov 2010 when I first found this forum, and I'll never forget the welcome and support you all gave me. I'm going to try to give some back.

Kevin

Yes Kevin, taking actions I didn't believe in or understand. It is amazing how far an unconditional surrender will get you. Thanks for your message of hope.
