Does this have the story of his aunt's fudge? A circuit speaker I listen to online talks about that analogy and it's fantastic.

those six steps , in one of their outlines, made much more sense to me when i first looked at AA than the 12 steps.
they seemed simple and doable.

I hear you. Fewer steps and more direct. Personally, I like the first original step one....we admitted we were licked.

Then, being alcoholics, or just regular people, of course the whole program got more and more complicated and drawn out and elaborate.

Not complaining, just saying.
