I finally have a sponsor!!
After 35 days of sobriety, I have finally chosen a sponsor and am very happy about it!!!
I thought a lot about it after Wednesday's meeting and decided on someone who I really admired and who knew the program well. She will be good for me I am sure. She has already given me a couple of helpful suggestions to get started and I just feel better and better about my recovery.
Thanks again for all the support you all give me here!!! I hope to get to an online meeting again soon!!

It seems it is always those really hard things that we don't want to do and that we drag our feet about that make us feel so good and relieved once we go through with it.

I do have to admit that today at the Renassiance Festival I was pretty resentful that I could not have a beer with my giant turkey leg....something I will bring up with my sponsor for sure!
