Exclamation AA Big Book Quote for September 26.

Working with Others.

"When dealing with such a person, you had better use
everyday language to describe spiritual principles.
There is no use arousing any prejudice he may have
against certain theological terms and conceptions about
which he may already be confused. Don't raise such
issues, no matter what your own convictions are."

From the book Alcoholics Anonymous.

Thanks for your post Dan it reminds me of a joke i heard many years ago in A.A
thought i would just pass it on.

This new priest was just ordained and he was sent out to the wilds of the farming comunity,Sunday came and he was realy exited about giving his sermon.
The bell of the church rang and he walked into the church and his face dropped, there was only one farmer there,he was dissapionted.
He went to the farmer and said what should i do, there's only you here.
The farmer said "well if i went out to feed my cattle and only one turned up then i would feed it."
So the priest goes up to the alter and starts his sermon 2 hours later the priest finishes and he went to the farmer and said what do you think.
Well said the farmer "If i went out to feed my cattle and only one turn up i wouldn't give it all the food."
