I agree I don't think aa a instrument from God cause it doesn't work for 95%+ and people there are not either. I don't have a sponsor or go to meetings cause they both disturb me greatly.
AA is only working less than 5% this week? Dang, last month I think it was 16%. I really need to find out where to go to fill out one of their questionnaires and raise that %. Maybe I'll take 100 of my sober buddies with me, and really make a dent! We never seem to be around when they're doing that statistic thing. 31 years, and I miss it every single time. Oh hwell...
Well I hope God keeps guiding you then. Good luck with that.
I'll look for a source, it's somewhere in the 12x12
AA is not perfect. But, it helped to save my life.
Don't bite the hand that feeds you.

100% success rate, sample size of 1...the only one that matters to me.
It's incredible how the folks who know more about AA than me, are frequently drunk or on and off booze.
DS ...I wish you relief with your Alcoholism and mental health difficulties. You have my sympathy. But you're never going to convince people that have found an answer, that there is no answer.

It was a closed meeting hell man can't I talk to people who have a real problem not a self made problem. I was born alcoholic since my first drunk I drank until I puked my friends didn't puked then drank more. I had four years sober in AA before and at this meeting it's over ran by drug attacks.
Anyway, as I was told, it is better to look for similarities rather than differences.
