Might be going overseas
I was talking to my aunt earlier this week and she told me I could come to India for a month or two and work for her help her with some projects. She has a nonprofit that works with autistic children. Im super excited to do this but nervous to be away from my sponsor. My parents were talking to me about it today they think it is a great idea. It might help me to find a job when I come back I will have some work experience that will be useful also I can improve my hindi and Konkani speaking skills. I need to discuss this with my sponsor. If it is a part of gods direction for me then it will happen trying not to stress about it. It sure would be nice to work and earn some money and get some great experience. Right now I am getting close to 60 days sober. What do you guys think is this is a bad idea for me to go to India for two months? I would attend AA meetings there. Im going to talk to my sponsor about it as well.

Your sobriety is number 1 .. without it work experience will be a moot point.
I was told not to make any important decisions in the first year of recovery.
Discuss this with your sponsor and the oldtimers. I hope you take their advice. You likely won't like their advice but you can take it.
All the best.
