Today I am 2 years sober with both the support of SR and the program of AA.

The changes in me and my life are really extraordinary. The promises have come true and I am one grateful alcoholic.


I am so much more at peace with myself and able to focus on tasks without getting all anxious. I was thinking yesterday I can not think of a time in my life when I felt this good consistently.

Today I fly to my home country, I haven't lived there since getting sober, I am looking forward to reacquainting myself with my country of birth, sober.

I wanted to write a big list of the positive changes in my life because there are so many but all that comes to mind is that every aspect of my life has changed for the good.

I have no desire to ever drink again, I don't want to change the way I feel or think whereas before I stopped drinking I always wanted to get out of myself and used alcohol to achieve that.
