Wow,
This really is kinda cool. I checked my email and already I had five replies to read. I thought I'd thank everyone and let people know a little more about me. One of the reasons I decided to seek more support, both at meetings and on-line, was because of my wife's pregnancy. We've been pregnant before, but unfortunately it hasn't worked out. We lost the first one at almost six months and had the chance to hold her for one day. Since then we've lost four more, but remain sober and strong in our belief that God will be good to us this time. I found great solace and comfort in the steps when things got hard before, and realize that God works through people - in this case alcoholics. I guess my point is that through the steps and people of AA I haven't needed top pick up a drink or substitute to get through hard times. I know the next few months will be hard, but I'm taking it a day at a time. I look forward to helping and getting help through this excellent site. Thanks again, and talk to all soon Mikel60
