Question AA E-mail groups

I started an AA district group site on *****. We're a little bit behind times. We'd kicked it around for some time. The only way current events were being passed is if, someone happened to pick up a flier at a meeting out of town.

Anyone on here using this as a way of keeping current events of what's going on in your area's AA??

Do you attend district meetings? I was hoping, this would be a way to get current events from AA meetings close by our area!

The local district here uses a Google group.

From what I hear it is working OK.

We created a "web servant" position that falls under P.I., I think, though there's a mailing list sign-up for members who'd like to receive a monthly list of current events.

Worked well for awhile, but our newest web servant is either not keeping up, or they have an old email for me. Thanks for the reminder. I'll go check it out.

Peace & Love,
Sugah

I'd mentioned it on here before I'd like it if we could have a site on here for regions. Not too many on here from where I live in down state IL. but, there are a few members from the St. Louis area on here.

It's been rewarding to attend AA meetings and functions out of my state. No where like AA do you feel as welcomed when, you're traveling.

Nope, we never had a site before. I've noticed surrounding areas having a site on the net
We were missing out on AA events going on around us. That's the reason for trying to get our area up to date.

I have a forgone conclusion everyone is on line though and that's not true.
