A bizarre Dream ... but funny!
As many know
I'm in a bit of a housing crisis right now
with the cold weather
and my apt building falling apart
anyhow -
the other night
I had to hike up to a friend's house
and sleep on her couch.
Well,
I woke up
with this song
in my head.
When my neighbor came out
she asked me what I was singing and laughing about.
Apparently I was singing and laughing in my sleep.
But I remember this much -
(to the tune of 12 Days of Christmas)
"On the first step of AA,
My Sponsor said to me -
take it easy, & don't drink in between"
Wonder if we, together, could come up with the rest of the song?
On the Second Step of AA,
my sponsor said to me -
just believe
& don't drink in between - ?

That's cool Barb....even as we sleep
AA is still working. Some of my dreams
are bizzarr like the one i had last nite
being chased by an alligator...lol
with all this rain we r having down
here in Baton Rouge, im sure the gators
are out and about having fun....lol
However ive had dreams where alcohol
pops in and my program is working
just as if i were awake....
I live, sleep and breath recovery
to ward off those nasty alcohol
temptations.
