Would this work? You decide.........
As we go through the day we pause, when agitated or doubtful, and ask for the right thought or action. We constantly remind ourselves we are no longer running the show, humbling saying to ourselves many times each day "Thy will be done." We are then in much less danger of excitement, fear, anger, worry, self-pity, or foolish decisions. We become much more effcient. We do not tire so easily, for we are not burning up energy foolishly as we did when we were trying to arrange life to suit ourselves.
It works---it really does.
We alcohloics are undisciplined. So we let God discipline us in the simple way we have just outlined.
But that is not all. There is action and more action. "Faith without works is dead."

I am going to really work on this today. I am growing frusrated and agitated and fearful today...I will ask Thy will be done..and work on what I can. Thanks for this post.
Faith without works is dead!!
Important statement for sure. I can pray for Gods will and I can remember when I am in the face of fear or loss of control that what is happening is Gods will and to accept that. Yes, it does take the pressure off but the important thing for me to be aware of is to try to understand what Gods will is for me so that I can follow through. If I can't see it then I need to pray that I learn what Gods will is for me.
Many times I see it and I don't like it and my will takes over. It's important for me to take the actions I need to to stay where God's will wants me. The action I may need to take is to go to a meeting when I am trying to force a situation to go my way. It gets me centered and grounded back to what my primary purpose is.
Working on acceptance is an action I must take daily to truly allow Gods will into my life.
