Well good. If I can pray for the other person I resent, I hear that you can literally change that person. Or at least it seems that way. Maybe God helps them change and/or maybe our perspective of the world changes and we find out that person we resented wasn't Lucifer all along.
But in any case, the object of my resentment becomes the lie, as does the whole 3rd column once I get to my part, and how I'm playing God.
Once I stop playing God and start playing McGowdog, things in my world change. Going to these people and making face to face ammends to them if I caused them harm merely enables me to "look the world in the eye", including myself again, and also enables me to look you and them in the eye as well. Toe to toe and eyeball to eyeball.
This process is, IMHO, regardless of time spend sober or in the AA program.
