Plath, this is a little off topic, but I really enjoy your quote from L'Engle. She is one of my favorite authors, and that book is one of my favorite books.

No problem about the off topic part, Bluebelle...and same here! I read every book by Madeleine L'Engle that I could get my hands on as a kid, but the Wrinkle In Time series is by far my favorite.

In fact, through all of my teenage and adult years (still now, even) I read the first three when I'm feeling down or bad, and I feel comforted by them. They're like an old, comforting blanket that I can curl up with and feel automatically safe in my own world.

I still have the ones that I got when I was in third grade, but I bought the series new for my son to enjoy (hopefully) as he gets older.

Thank you for sharing that, it's nice to know that we have kindred spirits out there (and on here)!
