Closed Threads, Why?

I'm a newcomer. I was wondering why are threads are closed?

I found the ACA Rights enlightening. Learning to "give" myself these rights is the struggle I face. Suggestions?

The threads in the "Sticky" section are closed because they are information threads, rather than discussion threads and also, in the past we have had posts from Newcomers up there that got unnoticed or lost because it's not a regular discussion thread....and the last thing we ever want is a newcomer to go unnoticed or left out.

Feel free to begin a new thread in the regular section referring to the topic in any of the Stickies.

And, welcome to SoberRecovery, you've come to a great place of people who understand.

Hugs

Hi there 3j, and welcome to this wonderful website. As Ann said, please feel free to start a new thread of your own. It's a little quiet here on the weekends, but it picks up during the week.

Welcome again.
