The anniversary of a death is so hard, especially the first one. I know for me, it's like I grieve all over again. Take care of yourself and know we're thinking of you. I just know Beavettes mom is so grateful that you are looking after her little boy.

Grieving is a process. It's not a weakness. Robots don't grieve. The ability to feel what you are feeling is what makes you the wonderful, caring person that you are and the person that I've grown to love. Even the part of you that gets pissed at yourself.
Our American culture tells us not to grieve. Look at the other countries. They know how to grieve. We sit at funerals and try not to cry. There is just something not right about that.
You can stay in the hole for awhile. We've got the rope and will pull you out if you're down there too long. Some of life's greatest lessons are learned in holes.
Love you,
MG

I agree - she is so grateful for the love you show that little boy. Sometimes we have to sit a hole, we just can't get to comforatble there. There is a wise lady around here that says -
The difference between a good day and a bad day ... is about 2 days
And that is true!
