I am an adult child of alcoholic parents, and grandparents. I am an alcoholic, sober just short of 10 months.

I'm the adult child of an alcoholic Father, and a codependent Mother. I am the eldest of 4, and all of us have had issues with drink and/or drugs.
I'm the only one in the family to have stopped, coming up to 9 months now.

Alcoholic Father. I haven't had a drink in 42 years. Had black out drinking episodes. Sobriety can be done.
