you are missing in action if you see any of our members out on the

completely settled in My New Place.
Never Give Up The Fight
When things don’t go right, it doesn’t mean we have
to go wrong along with them.
Things are gonna go wrong in life but we don't have to react to them anymore
like we used to.
I used to let life defeat me so easily in the past.
Any uncomfortable feeling or thought I had to escape through drugs and
alcohol.
No one ever died from feeling emotionally uncomfortable. The early days
are the toughest but we just have to fight our way through but once we get through
those first few days we may never have to do ever it again.
But Please seek medical attention if you are shaking badly or going through
the dt's in the very least. Alcohol withdrawal can be very dangerous. Don't
want a seizure. I had one. No fun.
If you are just feeling a bit agitated please hang in there. Come into SR and
start a new thread and just ask for help or get to an AA meeting, There is usually
one in every town. You will get many responses here and the support you need..
Ohh and Eat candy it helps. I didn't have a problem with that. I still grab
the candy and I haven't had a drink in 1.5 years. That is next on my list. Anyways......
Please don't give up.
Our Goals and Dreams are kinda like breathing – once we give up, there’s no
hope left.
Let's not do that to ourselves. It’s always too early to quit.
We have to continue breathing, continue moving forward, some days we will
make great strides and just sail through the day without temptation others
may be a little tougher.
But we have to continue putting forth even the smallest efforts to sustain
our sobriety our recovery.
We have to accept the fact that if we fight through the challenges, there is always
a chance we might lose, but if we do not fight at all, we have already lost.
Remeber a liittle prayer doesn't hurt either.
Never give up the fight 24 hour club!

Was the only person from my team to show up for work last night; it's nice to be not hungover and able to run around all night. It may be a silly manufacturing job, but for the first time in a long time I felt important last night and I needed that.
Beautiful, foggy, damp morning here at 7:46 in NC.
37 long, hard...amazing days sober.

Checking in from Colorado at 6:50am. Heading back to the Low Country. Had a sober 4 days visiting new grand baby. So busy, couldn't check in for a few, but was mentally here and supporting you all. Have a fantastic Monday.
