where was i
physically, i was fresh out of the detox. friend picked me up. physically i would live, psychologically i was MIA. it started on a wed nite when decided to detox myself at home. throwing up for 2 days finally turned to blood. fri nite i was in the ER. detox till sunday nite. when i got home i was desperate for companionship and hit the search engines. it took about an hour but i stumbled across this site.
Nervous at first i was immediately accepted as someone in need of help.
What great group! i don't know if the peeps on here understand what an important resource they are for me. i've only been on here a week and a half, but, i have gotten to know a bunch of kind, caring, thoughtful, and hopeful people. people i now call my friends. we all have something in common here, our battles with whatever addictions. i think this group is important to alot of hurting people out there and collectively there is so much compassion here, saddled side by side with encouragement, it is incredible. this group is part of my higher power. love and respect you all!
