I was neither here or there
It's only been four days but the pressure is being relieved - as so many offer wishes, hugs, prayers and support. To live this life of addiction in our family is hard and painful. To live this same life but having SR is workable and inspiring. To the addicts who have written me and the families scarred, you are not alone - stay your course and know that I walk with you and thank you for walking with me. I feel like I can once again reach back to God - I know he opened my eyes to this site and these forums. I wish I had reached out sooner but better late than never. My stranglehold is lifting and my life is returning. Blessings to all and prayers for all.

My fourth day was the day I was still finding hidden bottles and dumping them, calling another alcoholic or texting abou every hour on the hour and chanting the serenity prayer.
My blessings for you!
