Good luck with your case. I've been dealing with the "black cloud" of court following me around since Jan of this year(My thread about it is on here). Was hoping to get it sorted last week no matter the punishment but, my case was continued until Nov. So, now I'm still in limbo,major anxiety most days and I have been drinking to "cope". I have not driven while drunk but, some days I was drinking in excess to "forget/escape". Today however is my new day 1.

I'm glad you are doing so well! Prayers for s good outcome next week, but from the sound of your post I know you will be able to handle whatever the outcome is, and continue to move forward in a positive way!

im 20 and I've had PLENTY of experience with the courts due to alcohol. What I would honestly do is explain to the prosecutor/judge your current situation. Your children rely on you for transportation. Talk about your job loss. Be completely honest and seem empathetic even if it's not sincere. Since it's your second DUI in what I understand a small town, they won't be welcoming on your return. At the best you will be able to keep your license, or have cetain time restrictions on driving via probation. You'll probably have to attend AA, and do community service hours. Be honest don't look angry but apologetic even though it's frustrating
