aniexty when at gym
Hi all,
Started back the gym today but when I came of the treadmill I started feeling dizzy, buzzing in the ears etc.
Did anyone else get this when they started back?
I do suffer from aniexty so I am sure that's what it is.
Thanks

Have you tried mindfulness or breathing exercises
This really works Tambdy but it takes practice & concentration

Yes. I get anxiety at the gym. The harder I train the more anxiety. So i go with...easy is better than hard or none.
I have noticed a decrease in the anxiety over time.
I have also seen ups and downs in the level of anxiety. Sometimes it is almost 0, sometimes it is more....but not as bad as before...
So...it gets better....almost 4 months clean...after about 13 solid years of booze in my system..
