Rehab Referral

Well, I guess I got the ball rolling. Tonight I called a helpline to help refer me to an inpatient rehab that my insurance will cover. Just want to have all bases covered. They are going to call me back tonight or tomorrow to let me know what my options are.

I'm just so afraid, as my family would be so shocked to have their daughter in rehab.

I just gave him my insurance information. He has to get back to me either tonight or tomorrow.

I will keep you all updated. At least I am pointed in the right direction. Need to rest right now from all of this.

My parents weren't jumping for joy when I went into inpatient. They were worried. Sad that their daughter had a problem. But ultimately, even though they didn't understand because they aren't alcoholics, they have been very supportive.

Good job moving forward. I've never regretted treatment.

Thank you all. I still have not heard back about the insurance issue, but it feels good to have a plan in place just in case I need it. This way, if things get really bad, I don't have to rush to make a decision, and I also won't end up somewhere my insurance does not work, and I have to pay a lot of money.
