I'm back! I'm about an hour and 1/2 away from 24 hours.

I'm starting to feel a bit pissy and short tempered. It doesn't help that I just had a phone conversation with my daughter who talks a mile a minute for the longest time about everything happening in her world, it's my busiest day at work and it is uncomfortable to cradle the phone against my shoulder and one of my ears is plugged so I feel "off". Up until that I was doing pretty good.

Deep breath, a serenity prayer and some positive visualization will hopefully put me back in the right frame of mind.

Glad to be back at it and pray for support!

I've got a couple hours to the 48 hour point. The difficulty comes and goes, the cravings come and go. I must remember to turn it over to my Higher Power and to trust in my Higher Power.

Hey guys! I'd like to join! I quit drinking, so smoking has to go as well. I frankly can't believe I did either. Any tips for the early days? I have 4 left for today. I know once I get over the hump I'll be fine.

It's been almost 9 - 24 hours or almost 9 days! Can't believe it.

Some days are easier, some days are harder. Driving is very hard for me, seems like the natural thing to do when I get in a car.

Anyway . . . still hanging in there, way to go everyone who is going through it as well.

Wow! Glad to see everyone is doing so well. I still haven't smoked and am fast approaching a personal best. It's day 84 I think. Last week was tough with the mood swings and I just couldn't take it anymore. I broke down and chewed a half piece of nicotine gum. It didn't calm me down at all. Something else is going on so I'm glad I know not to even bother thinking smoking will do the trick.

Great job everyone and me! This is a tough one and we are doing it!
