24 Hour No Nicotine/No Smoking Club - Part 12
Hi SR, I'm back here too after a slip. You have many more days than me now (I'm on day 5) and I know you can stay strong! You have to, a slip now will mean starting over with terrible cravings.
I have heard that smoking can make female problems worse, i.e. Periods and menopause. It makes sense, the toxins interrupt our hormonal balances. So the thought of smoking calming your stresses is a fallacy!! You can do this!!
I am craving some but doing ok overall...

I keepago day 8 today. Whew, I guess I'm through the worst of physical cravings. I am grateful to be smoke free. I'm sitting in a classroom this week for a training and I can feel confident that the folks next to me don't have to smell second hand smoke.
Stay strong everyone!
Stay strong everyone!
Day 9. Another smoke free reference. Last night I had one of those "deep talks" with a friend, the kind that used to include incessant chain smoking. I had some strong cravings but I made it through smoke free! Yes! One day, one moment at a time....
I have been relapsing with nicotine all of the time but really want to stop. Have been smoking today, but want to make tomorrow, Wed. 18th January my Day 1. See you tomorrow, and congrats to everyone for doing this really great thing.
Odelle, you have done brilliantly.

Hi steely, Odelle, lorax, SR, koala, and all!
I'm on day 15, 2 weeks smoke free. The worst is over.....! I feel pretty great most of the time, cravings are few and far between. Not always easy but it feels like I'm on the downhill now.
