Thanks Dee!

Feel better Suze. Lots of water and ibuprofen or whatever helps lower your fever.

Thanks Dee.

Suze hope you're feeling better soon, a few days in an hotel may help!
I heard ibuprofen mentioned, Suze. I haven't been allowed to take it since having asthma. Doctors say it's bad for us. Just an observation. Worth checking out before or if you use it.

Star and Jeni, I wish my cat would be friendlier to the stray. If a cat came in our house Merlin would either freak out and fight! Both not a happy ending.

Inpar, I hope you can find another job that you enjoy doing or your boss moves on! There's a thought!

Think I've got another chest infection. Felt poorly all day at work yesterday, wheezing. But we'd had a water leak from the water cooler over the weekend at work and the carpet was well soaked and fusty smelling. Not good for the old asthma and lungs.
I've very little immune system so I catch anything.:

Gonna see if I can catch a few more hours sleep.

Oh no Mags, you poor love. Just not fair.
Wishing you better sweetheart.

Ibuprofen is the only drug I can or will take.
Not allowed to use panadol/tylenol; my liver does not like it.
Luckily, my asthma is very very mild these days.
It all changed when I was in the US...it disappeared.
Hopefully after living there for a little while it will be gone forever.
And thank you.

That's great Suze. Must be different air? The specialist suggested we move areas away from fields as grass is one of my allergies, apparently.

I'm pleased you're ok with ibuprofen, it used to be my go to pain relief but not now.

You'll soon be in USA I guess, if you're packed and leaving your house. You must be so exciting Suze. I'm so happy for you xx

Oh no Mags! I thought Suze and I were the only ones who never sleep here.

Get some rest and feel better!

Hello Friends, Trusting you are all well and looking over the hill for spring.
Just past month 39. My wife and I have taken our three kids and three spouses and three grandsons to the Big Island for 10 days. Day 7 today. Fabulous time with all of them. The middle generation sure do enjoy the beer and wine and hard liquor.
That is the one expense I aint paying for.
Swam with a five ft. turtle with the grandsons. What a thrill for us all.
Saw mantarays tonight just after sunset. Hot and sunny all week. Not looking forward to heading home on Sunday night.
Best to you all

Hello Rick.

Gosh that sounds magnificent!! Were you able to touch the turtle, not sure if they are friendly or not. But just wow. To all of it, except for the booze, and love that you put your foot down about paying for that.

Wonderful to see you, and 39 months is a fantastic milestone.

Well tried to post and suddenly sober recovery was not responding, and it's gone.
Status reports good,
Y'all get well.
I am not unwell.

I quoted Leonard Cohen's "Dead song"

And "Suzanne"

But the inspiration was digitally crushed,
Oh well

Hello Itchy.

I kept seeing a database error earlier.
Don't know if that's what happened to you.
Very glad to know that you are well.....I was just thinking about you. And missing you.

Thanks for the new thread, Dee!

Suze, hope you get all better for your big move.

IP, sounds like a tough situation. Sending hugs your way today.

Wolfie, let us know your thoughts on Making A Murderer. That all happened in my neck of the woods.

Rick, great to "see" you. Sounds like life is good these days.

Itch, thanks for checking in.

The boss is throwing me a couple of curve balls this week with yet ANOTHER project. So glad I have a clear head and can learn new skills. As I always say, this job beats workin' for a living

Have a Thunderous Thursday, overs!

Hi Rick and congrats!

Suze, happy to hear you will be taking a lovely break before leaving.

Kitty has taken over the place - yesterday evening I found her sleeping on my recliner :-)

Have a lovely Thursday if you can, Overs!
