I'm grateful that it wasn't our house that was struck by lightening and burned to the ground yesterday. Unfortunately for the people down the street it was their house. I'm grateful that no one got hurt and I pray that they are able to at least salvage their most precious belongings and are able to find another home that they will love soon.

I'm grateful for my brother. He's a decade older than I am so we have never been very close but I've always been very fond of him. He's a lot like my dad. He has a big heart and he's very kind. He's an awesome father to his children. He always makes me laugh and he's really fun to be around. He protected me a lot when I was a little girl too.
