Grateful for 6 years of Peace
So grateful tonight for 6 years of hope and peace and my most heartfelt prayers for those still suffering. I'm living proof that the most desperate, beaten, self-loathing addict can find their way again. Never give up friends. Six years ago I was laying my head down for 30+ days in a treatment center 500 miles from my home - thinking I might die from home sickness...but KNOWING that I would soon die from addiction if I didn't give it my all. I've given it my all every day since. It hasn't been easy but I'm grateful for every day and I no longer hate myself. Do whatever it takes - you are worth it and you are loved.
