Grateful I got out of work after only 8 hours today. Grateful my new boss's plan so far has worked.
Grateful I know where my loved ones are.

Grateful for not going back to bed or napping even though I really just wanted to collapse and pull the "kivers" (as RZ would say) over my head. I made it even without a lot of caffeine, too.

And grateful for a visit with my mom and a case manager that may have given my mom something of a much-needed wake-up call...I hope.

Love and hugs,
Eddie

Grateful to lower my expectations and just work on being a good person.

Grateful to realize in most instances I can't control what others are going to do. I can only control what I'm going to do.

Grateful that I have work lined up for next week. Grateful that I didn't stay stuck in fear of having no work for too long.

Grateful that rearranging the furniture always makes me feel a little better... like there must be other solutions to my problems that I just haven't thought of yet.
Grateful uncomfortable feelings don't make me drink.
