Yeah, my kitty-boys are good entertainment, too.

Grateful for taking time to sit and listen to the sole female client at the adolescent substance abuse program where I volunteer without feeling compelled to judge or give advice. Glad my ability to just listen has vastly improved.

And grateful I found someone to get together with and celebrate my Two Years Sober in ABA (Anorexics and Bulimics Anonymous). I bought cake and milk and shared it with her, my oldest friend.

Love and hugs,
Eddie

Grateful for depression, irritability. Fatigue, etc. It makes me cope without drinking and helps me appreciate times when I feel better.
Grateful to know some other peoples expectations of me are not based on me bteaking promises, just based on their projections and unrealistic expectations they try to hang on me.
Grateful for the friends who do NOT do that to me.

Grateful to have eleven months today... Can't believe I have managed to get here. Can't believe I am GLAD to be sober.
Grateful for the weird moments of the song that seems to come on the radio whenever I get down on myself.
Grateful for the huge bowl of ice cream I just devoured haha.

Grateful to get out of myself and reach out today.

Grateful to realize that left alone in my own head is like being in a bad neighborhood.

Grateful I was able to get up at 6am hangover free and run a 5K this morning. I am even grateful for the rain too. Was a good Sunday.

Grateful that everything ends at some point, especially when it's a job I'm not very enthusiastic about doing.
