The Day after the night before
The Day after the night before
This morning sitting at the kitchen table in a blur of serious hangover, my husband asked me two questions:
1. Why on earth did I need to get that drunk the night before.
2. Could I finally please see this as a serious problem and quit drinking.
I am a binge drinker. I can go days without drinking, but I have no ability to stop once I start. I have gained 20 pounds in the last 2 years, and it is all from Corona.
Today is the day I choose my family over drinking.

Welcome scoob,
You are making the right choice to stop drinking and it is admirable that you want to do it for your family. But you need to want it for yourself first.
Keep posting, glad you're here.

Hello scoob, been there done that. You sound like me. I am a binge drinker who likes beer. I put on 30 lbs because of my beer drinking but I have lost it all through working out and of course, not drinking beer. Things may seem a little scarey and hopeless right now, but it will get better if you stay away from alcohol. You are not alone.
