Losing someone you love from your alcoholism

I've lost someone special to me because of my addiction to alcohol and it is difficult to stay sober. Anyone here lose someone you love because of your addiction? It is hard.

Good news is you never have to lose another person due to your alcoholism.

What's done is done, can't change the past. I'm sorry for your loss and the painful thoughts.

Don't drink at it!!

Day Two!

I lost my job, my wife, my bank account and my house due to foreclosure. Yet none of them were excuses for going back to drinking.

Recovery is all about living through fear, adversity and failure from the perspective of a student, rather than from the perspective of a victim. Sobriety doesn't necessarily make life better - it makes life more alive.

Don't feed the cycle, continuing to drink may cause more lose, so why not draw a line and say no more?!!

You can do this!!
