my week
Tuesday morning: husband sentenced to 1 year domestic violence counceling, drug and alcohol assessment, and a fine....whatever
Tuesday after noon: My oldest son flew in from the airforce for Christmas, my middle son drove in from college! YEA! All three home for the holidays!
Wednesday...I was supposed to have a Christmas Party at work. Around 9:30 am I was in excruciating pain. I could not stand up straight. The only way to breathe was to stay hunched over. I drove myself to the ER. 1 cat scan and 1 ultrasound later I was being prepped for surgery. I had a tumor (not a cyst) wrapped around my ovary that was squeezing off the blood supply. God it hurt! That night they removed my ovary and the tumor. The tumor was to big to scope so i have an incision that goes from hip bone to hip bone.
I got home yesterday. My 3 boys are taking good care of me. Im sore and tired. But instead of running around we are enjoying each others company. Playing games, talking, watching football.
I thank God that with everything going on I still do not want to drink.

((((OklaBH)))). Speedy healing to you. so happy your sons are there to look after you and that you can just hang out and enjoy each other. I don't know about the scar, I had a similar event but it was a cyst. The scar blends in with the natural fold. I was a bit sore for a while but had a complete recovery! I know you're gonna be fine!

thanks! I cant heal quick enough. Im used to going all the time. Sitting still is not in my nature. The pain is tolerable but I am so so so so tired. I cant keep my eyes open at times.
