Good to see people posting on this thread again, and we now have 53 posters over 60.

And I just got a pacemaker for my heart, so the battery will keep me going for quite a few years over 60.

I'm 42! I always think it's so funny how so many people say they look young for their age, when you almost never hear people say "I'm 50 but people think I'm much older!"

I drank alcoholically for 42 years, so there were no slips left in me when I arrived here at age 54 and stayed sober. I will be 83 next month.

I am over 80, and if you want to know the point?

Sober Living for me has resulted in a lot of years of having everything, and it does not get any better than living in recovery from our illness/alcoholism.

Recovery is all about doing the next right thing to not only stay alive, but reap the rewards that result. It works if you work it.
