Been a rough ride for a couple of days now.
Tired.
7:40p.m. here. Going to vegetate for a while. Probably call it a night early.
Music? I like: Eagles, Boston, Kansas,Trooper, 38 special, Bob Seger, Don Williams, Simon and Garfunkel. Joe Cocker. Jim Croce. some country: Clint Black, Blue Rodeo. I’ve even listened to John Anderson.

I know most of those bands - not so much up on the country artists tho

Morning all
Day 28 for me. 4 weeks. Just looked in the mirror. My face looks more smooth and less lined. I remember when I had been sober for a few months back in 2013 and saw my brother who I only see 2 or 3 times a year. He asked me if I had had work done as looked so well. Giving up alcohol is much cheaper than a facelift
first full week at work for me and I feel good. No headache, no hangover, no fear, no panic, no tension. Peace of mind. Whatever the week throws at me I can deal with it.

Congrats on four weeks, RAL! I'm glad you've had a good week. I think my sobriety shows, too. I sure to feel a lot better.

I'm set to go back to work on July 5th. Just a few weeks away. I need to decide now what to do. I'm a little tense over that, but otherwise am doing well this morning.
