850g bar of Chocolate.
Just ordered a bar of chocolate - 850g or just under 2lbs in weight.
I had been looking at them online for a while but figured it was a little extravagant until I realised that it cost slightly less than the bottle of vodka I used to buy and I always seemed to find the money for that!
It got me thinking, what else we could all buy for the price of a bottle of vodka, so here's a challenge - think about what YOU can treat yourself to

I spent 10-20 dollars a day, at least, on alcohol. 300-600 a month, 3600-7200 a year.
I spent about 3000 on an amazing vacation to Hawaii this year, after being sober for two years. Relaxed, played, hiked, swam, snorkeled, scuba dived, laughed, loved.
Grateful. <3

Today I'm 207 days sober. Let's MATH!
Nightly costs:
1 750ml bottle of Platinum Vodka - $10.60
2 36oz bottles of Gatorade - $4.00
Total: $14.60
$14.60 x 207 = $3,022.20
Wow! Yet, I'm broke. Darn medical bills!

My nails did, a massage, a few new books, a new outfit, a nice steak meal out, a movie, buying my kid more toys that he doesn't need as he doesn't play with the darn toys he already has, etc....

A new book, yesterday I bought a nice spice rack and some pretty kitchen scales - things I would never have thought to buy when I would rather spend all of my money on alcohol. Spending £10+ a day.. Probably triple that if I was out.
More importantly money to put into the savings fund every month. Want to actually get on the property ladder instead of renting at some point!
