6 months

Yesterday am 6 months sober ...i should be proud of myself ...but am not
Keep seeing things and hearing things ...medication dont cut it at all my psych tells me i have to deal with it throught other ways apart from meds
Am so done with all this ****
Better life they say in AA better MY ARSE
i cant deal with this ****

Congrats on 6 months Aum. Sorry to hear you are still having issues but drinking will only make them worse. Perhaps you could see a different therapist? Not all meds work for everyone and the same goes for doctors.

I agree with Scott - if you're not happy with your therapist find another one.

what does your husband think?

my husband says he wouldnt be able to cope with me if i start drinking
or took drugs me and him sat down and talk am so stressed with worry about my OCD thoughts there getting worse and stressing me out more

i worry about everything and everyone i cant stop worrying
don't know why am like this

my psych is different from my Therapist i start seeing my therapist after me and my husband visit family

i see the hare Krishna tomorrow looking forward to it

awww thank you
going to the Hare Krishnas today also there a store nearby called krishna foods going to have a look there after unsure what time it shuts at but i really want some food from there to try

Many congratulations on 6 months. you are doing really well. At 6 months whilst I felt better in many ways I felt worse in others. everything was raw and highlighted. It really does get better though. Drinking won't make anything better - it will just make you feel worse and undo all your good work.

As others have said,maybe look to change your therapist.

6 months sober is great. I'm sure it's discouraging at times, but it sounds like you're working hard. I hope your plans for the day turned out well.

6 months is awesome. Now it's time to change your lifestyle too and the benefits of sobriety will begin to compound. Meditation is a good idea!

Yesterday was amazing day day that i have never had on drugs or drink
went to the Hare Krishna they did singing / Chanting for a little while then they did a lession about Krishna then we had a meal witch was so beautiful i loved every mintiet i was there then at the end i got a book about Krishna for me to lean about him
went home read a little then went to bed woke up this morning and am feeling so good and happy right now ...
today we are going clothes shopping ( i hate going clothes shopping normally ) then am going to my LGBT group
