Thumbs up 3 days no alochol.

Last time I drank was sunday and I got pretty drunk. One of my friends gave me a cold so I decided **** it, might as well stop drinking now. I usually drank around a a Handle of vodka in a week and a half to 2 weeks. Here and there I would skip days when I didn't feel like drinking.

So far I have had no symptoms. No shakes nothing. I have a slight fever from my sickness but that's about it. I am an anxious person and I am wondering if it is possible to skip all the shakes and minor symptoms and jump right into seizures or DTs? Is that possible. Does anyone have any experience on this? Thanks!!

Welcome to the family. Best advice I can give is to see your doctor if you're having any strange symptoms. Withdrawal is usually over in four to five days but can sometimes last longer.

I can't answer your question, I don't know. Only a doctor knows. I just wanted to say congrats on three days. That's awesome.

You might not even be at the point of having physical withdrawals at all. Until very recently I could stop for a few days with no physical symptoms, just a desire to drink. My first experience with withdrawal was a few weeks ago, and a few more episodes of this has lead me to my current struggle to stay sober. For me, the symptoms were the slap in the face I needed. They'll come eventually if you don't stop, not fun at all.

It's fine to share your experience Germany - the medical rule is about 'playing Doctor' - diagnosing or recommending treatment for others
