Happy sober Saturday! :)
Happy sober Saturday! :)
So far it's been a GREAT day!! Woke up feeling refreshed, went to the dog park, and now going to the pool to relax and get some sun. Much better morning compared to last weekend when I woke up smelling like booze and stayed on the couch from morning until night.
Went to Old Chicago for dinner last night with some friends. Walking past the bar to go to the bathroom, it reeked of beer. I think I'm much more sensitive to my surroundings when I'm not drinking. It just reminded me of the rancid smell of booze in the morning and the bad taste that lingers in your mouth. I'm much stronger and happier sober, here's to a life full of new discoveries and happy mornings such as this one

So true Katie, not missing that morning after feeling in your mouth-ick!! I can smell booze more now too-really notice it at work where I wasn't as aware of the smell before (bartender).
