Glee, hope you feel better soon! I had a bit of a cold yesterday, but am feeling better this morning. I rarely get sick, so even a case of the sniffles can get me down.

Well, it's another New Year's Eve and I'll probably be in bed by 9pm. My Dad used to call this "amateur night" in terms of drinking. I feel the same way about St. Patty's Day.

So excited to be able to join this thread! I celebrated one year on dec 27th. Looking forward to New Year's Eve tonight with over a year sobriety. It's been the best year of my life - never would have thought sobriety would do that! On to another great sober year in 2017!

Pat I forgot to say one of my old schoolmates is a singer he gets regular gigs at Ronnie Scott's in Soho (renowned club for jazz big band etc) he also plays sax we were actually in a band once in my heyday lol

I remember he performed Jack the knife on TV and you brought a good memory of it
