2+ years into sobriety and I am grateful to have my health (mental and physical). Had I continued down the dark path which I was on, I'd be in a bad place right now...if not dead. I am also grateful not to be a slave to any substance. I am in control and I thank the powers who shape our universe for that.
I wish the best for others on the sobriety train; especially, those who are newly aboard trying to make a difference in their lives. Good luck. It is worth the sacrifice.
