job decision made

It was company number 2.

Company number 3 with all the international travel has decided to go with a more "junior" project manager..Which means they didn't want to pay the salary I asked for.

No biggie.

Company number 2 is a big aerospace company about 15 minutes from my house..It's a 1+ year contract..could go permanent..

Money is less then my last contract but still good by my standards.

Feel like it is the right decision though...

I'm so glad to hear that the job search has ended. Now you can kick back and relax and get into the job. Sounds like you don't have to fight the commute battle either, which is great!

Wow Minx. The search is over! Take a breath, enjoy the relief, and be proud.

Remember a couple of months ago when I was stressing out over the decision about my own job future and whether to go freelance?

It's been a month now and I am so happy I did it. I actually have so much work right now it's become a matter of careful what you wish for -- and I have the independence and flexibility I've always craved.

All happens in the right time! Congrats!

Well as much as the travel thing sounded exciting, this goes back to the "low maintenance" discussion from before. I like the idea of a job that gives a person plenty of time for life. You know, the important stuff.

Hey Jazz -

Totally with you on that one..The travel would have been a plus but it was kind of nagging at me as well...

I kept hearing my inner voice say this was the job so I do think my HP took the travelling job out of the pix so I didn't have to decide.

funny how that works...
