My brother is an addict. My mother has been going through the cycle for @ 20 years with him. Hes only around when he gets out of jail and needs a place to go. He remains clean for @ 4-8 months then dissapears until he gets arrested then gets out and needs mommy again.(Like all other addicts he is the greatest, loving, giving,careing guy when hes off the crap) She knows its her choice to let her come stay with her but I sware she truely believes everytime that this time will be different. She says its her son and she cant let him live on the street or if anything would happen to him she could not live with that.
Anyway.. I want to know if anyone can recomend any good books for her to read. I really want her to understand the addiction. I think reading will help her..Thanks
