Foks from AA
Foks from AA
Today I attended the wake of my step mother in law. My FIL is a recovering alcoholic, I'd say he has 10 years now, or somewhere close to that.
My FIL was so distressed (rightfully so) and he could not seem to settle himself down (also understandable) but his friends from AA came and they were a lovely group of friends and as they spoke to my FIL, I could see him become more visibly at ease, I could virtually see his blood pressure lowering (normal color to his face), he cried with ease instead of torture.
So to all of you AA folks ...... today I saw exactly what your fellowship means and how much you mean to each other! It was nice and very touching.
