My H&I Chair position term is over
CONGRATULATIONS!! What do you think you'll do now? I've been our area's PI secretary since last summer, so my term is winding down, too. I admit, though, that I have not kept up with my duties too well since I started back to work. I'm hesitant to take on any more commitments, but service has been a big part of my recovery so I'm unsure what to do next. Maybe the phoneline?

This is my stuff, "Grass Root" Recovery. I am the PI Guy in our Area, and am involved with H&I. Plan on staying with it till I just am unable to do it, I don't see that in the near future. Of course I sponsor others and they get involved with service and we "Carry the message" to the still sick and suffering addict, even the ones that haven't shown up yet.
H&I and PI are less glamorous, yet most rewarding.
I shared at a rehab, this dude came up to me and thanked me and told me, " I am here because of you message", that was cool, and God will let you know where you are supposed to be.
Peace,
Todd J.

I'll still do my H & I commitments. Our Vice-Chair position of our Area will open up in June, I may aim for that. I think I'm going to get more involved with our H&I subcommittee on the Regional level. One of my good buddies of the New Dominion Area (Richmond Va ) is the Chair.
I think I may need to get back to doing some H&I meetings. I miss it. I was encouraged to go for alternate secretary of our regional H&I, but I know if I can't keep up with my area-level commitment, I couldn't handle a regional one.
