Good for you - and I have to say, I wish i could have gone cold turkey.

Hope your day 2 goes quickly and at least has something in it to make you smile.

Yay again!

Great job, Five. I'm on day 4 now. I'm doing mine with a week's worth of Wellbutrin. Day 2 is the worst. Get through that and it gets better each day. Medically, it is said that within 3 days, all nicotine is out of your body. Almost there Five, hang in there!!!

Good luck, Five;
Remember to work on those behaviors. It's the smoking behaviors that cause people to come back to that nasty habbit again and again.

I don't understand why people want to go cold turkey. As I've said before, there's no prize for suffering the most. I mean, we can get over the flu without medication too, but, who would brag about doing that? I want to quit and remain quit. That's why I'm willing to do whatever it takes. That's why I used zyban, the patch and the gum when driving. It worked for me, and kept me sane until I learned new, non smoking behaviors. That's only my take on the issue. Take what you need....

But, whatever method you do use, remember this:
Keep the quit and post before you puff!

Shalom!
