Day 4....UGH!
Made it through day 3. What a struggle that was. I was craving so bad I'd probably would have given my car for a few pills. The mind of an addict. I do feel better today. This really is the first time in about 4 years that I've been TOTALLY clean. I've always had xanax in my system. This time day 4 means totally clean. Thanks to all.

Way to go, Golf! Day 4 was tough for me, too. And, honestly, days 5-7 were no picnic. But, hang tough! You're probably over most of the physical stuff. For me, it was a lousy mind-set (depression, crying) that ruined days 4-7. It looks like you posted this very early this morning. Not sleeping? Do whatever you can to get a good sleep. See a doctor if you have to. I'm convinced that everything you go through during this time is made worse by lack of sleep. BE STRONG!! I'm on day 12 and feel fantastic!

hey golf!!! I have 40 days today off methadone ,morphine ..I do know to be very careful with the benzo withdrawal!!! It can take a minute to kick in....Not trying to worry you but that is how it happened for me...stick close to your support and keep posting here,,,it is a great place to find the strength we need to do this thing one day at a time...northbelle

I know. It gave me the worst headache ever. I was shaking as well. That has stopped as of yesterday. Benzo withdrawal can cause death. But I was not going to stay on one and drop another. I want to be 100% clean.

I hope you are hanging in there... I feel your pain!!! I am on day 12 off of Suboxone and pregnant. Day 3-6 was hell for me, but sometime around day 6 something clicked and a lot of the physical stuff stopped. You are almost there!!!!!! I would pretty much cry myself to sleep and cry so much that no more tears would come out! I know you can do it, but don't be afraid to get help especially with the benzos... you don't want to mess around there. I really really hope you feel much better real soon!!! I just said a prayer for you!

Yea, lol, I promise. Keep posting here as you are struggling. I did that and it got me through. I ran here to cry more than you know! lol........ It's so hard at first, but it gets a little easier each day. I have 13 weeks tomorow!!! And all the struggle has been so worth it! I PROMISE!!
