2 Days Clean

What a nightmare! I've been on a 3 month wild ride to 'bottom-outville'. I'm glad I returned to this sight. My last shot of hydro and Benzo's was wednesday night. I was in RE-hab. for 1 day, yep 1 day. New job opened up so I had to leave, I'm semi-OK though. Home and getting an ass grilling from the wife, "how could I do this to the family" and so on. I'm trying to relax with music and walking on treadmill. My head is pounding. Talk soon! Best to all!!

How are you feeling? I hope the new job will help take your focus off detoxing and help you think about something new and good. How is that part going? I think if I tried a new job when I first detoxed, I'd have lost it. So I admire what you are doing.

Doing OK. Day 3. I found a source of strength in a book called, 'Victory secrets of Attila the Hun'. Crazy name huh? It talks about inner strength and the ability to overcome ones fears. I'm looking at it as a power to detox, I'm doing it. I remember when I left detox yesterday the counselor told me I'd fail. I'm out to prove to myself I'm strong. I'm tired of failing. Thanks for your concern.
Best Always,
Golf

Try going to NA meetings. I know that I couldn't have stayed clean without the experience, strength, and hope I found there.
