Hiya, Sadcat!
You are just tooooo cool!
Yes, you CAN do this. And you deserve this for yourself!

Have a look around the forum here. There's tons of good information for you. Feel free to post whatever you need to. We're all here to support each other. I've expressed every dang emotion there is since my quit, and gotten nothing but loving support. So, don't be afraid to put it out there. Don't let a temporary emotion or thought win out over your quit! Don't give into that nicodemon!!!

If you want the quit meter, here's the link for the download.
www.silkquit.org
It does this:
One month, three weeks, two days, 9 hours, 52 minutes and 35 seconds. 2136 cigarettes not smoked, saving $587.52. Life saved: 1 week, 10 hours, 0 minutes.
I find it a tremendous incentive!
Now, if I just had the money I've supposedly saved, LOL!

Oh, yea, have you called the American Cancer Society? They were VERY helpful for me!

Good luck with your quit. I hope we'll see you here often. Don't forget to check in on the morning check in thread!

Keep the quit and post before you puff!

Shalom!

Thanks Captain & Historyteach.

I have tons of books and have been on BC Lung Association website.

I will remember to check in every morning, and if this wanting get to out of hand.

Husband isn't helping much. Still smoking in the house, but I am determined this time.

Banish the hubby! LOL!
Determination and changing behaviors will get you through this. Good to see you're exercising. That's one of the best changes we can make. It replaces the negative addiction with a positive one, and will be negatively effected if you do go back to smoking!
Keep the quit and post before you puff!

Shalom!
